Solca Museum House, code SV-II-m-B-05647, a public forum monument of local importance (county), established in 1971, situated in Solca (44 km away from Suceava), Tomșa Vodă Street, no. 111, organized in a traditional Bukovinian house, built-in 1670.
Inside, the house is divided into two rooms (the “big house” – where Bukovina peasants entered, according to tradition, only occasionally, during the holidays) and the kitchen, separated by a “porch” (hall). In the two rooms was built a traditional stove, with oven and hob.
Visitors have the opportunity to admire a traditional Bukovina house, specific to the ethnographic area of Rădăuţi, with traditional furniture: bed, benches, blinds, shelves, dowry boxes, swing for children, weaving looms. In terms of fabrics, towels and old-style carpets for walls stand out, with traditional Bukovinian patterns.
