“John the Baptist” Church, the year 1820. Patrimony number 1187. Monument of national value. It is located in Nazavyziv village, Nadvirna district.
One-level wooden church. The central tower is wider than the lateral ones; the top of the tower is combined- the octagon turns into a quadrangle, with a roof flag. A narrow porch was attached to the west side of the narthex. The “ballooned” forms of the stains installed on the edges of the roofs of the narthex and the altar, as well as the lanterns above the aisle are highlighted. The original bell tower has not been preserved – a wooden construction replaces it, under whose roof hangs a small bell.
Inside are preserved oil paintings from the 19th century, which belong to the Galician school of folk architecture.
