Church of Nativity of The Most Holy Theotokos, year 1736. Patrimony number 237/d/1. Monument of national value. Located in: Tysmenytsia city, Monastyrska Street, no. 32.
It is the oldest church that has been preserved in Tysmenytsia. Among the people, the place is considered a monastery because, in the 16th-18th centuries, it belonged to the monastery of the Vasilian order.
It is built of uncarved oak beams and has a wonderful iconostasis – a work of art. Not far from the church rises the bell tower, also built in the 18th century. The approximate date of its reconstruction is 1801. The interior walls of the church are decorated with drawings from the 19th century. From the interior decorations of the place, the iconostasis made in Renaissance Baroque style has been preserved to this day. Some researchers claim that it has been in the church since it was built. The ensemble of the iconostasis with four tiers of saints is a masterpiece of old Ukrainian painting.
