Church of the Dormition of The Most Holy Theotokos, year 1739. Patrimony number 1186. Monument of national value. It is located in Gvizd village, D. Syneak Street, Nadvirna county.
The inscription carved above the door at the entrance to the narthex confirms that the church was built in 1739. With a small height, this church in a cruciform plan with a single tower looks quite monumental. It may be because of the gray color of the walls, eaves and roof, or the windows’ purely symbolic dimensions. The three doors at the entrance to the church are painted on the entire surface with images of religious themes – here is everything that can be more interesting on the outside of the church. In its southern part, a three-level wooden bell tower has been preserved.
