A small church, without a tower, classic representative of the so-called “Moldavian borough churches”, supported on the outside on buttresses.
In 1837-1923 it was granted to the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic community in the city of Suceava and in 1923 being ceded again to the Orthodox cult.
The point of attraction for tourists is mainly given by the bell tower (zvonița) on the left side of the church, with three bells, specific in Romania only to the churches in northern Moldova.
In addition, in the church, there is a replica of the battle flag of Stephen the Great (with a catalogue value of 7.5 million Euros), donated by him in 1500 to the Zograf Monastery on Mount Athos.
