Bogdana Monastery, code SV-II-a-A-05603. Monument of international value located in Rădăuți (36 km from Suceava), Bogdan Vodă Street, no. 4-6.
The church of the monastery, dedicated to St. Nicholas, was founded by the voivode Bogdan the Ist (1359-1365), being the oldest wall construction in Moldova.
The plan of the church is of Romanesque type, with a central nave and two lateral ones, separated from each other by six massive pillars. The division of the church into a nave and an altar is of the Byzantine type. At the same time, inside the church, there are pointed arches specific to the Gothic style (as well as the profile of the section of the interior vaults).
