Church of “Saint John the Theologian”, the year 1824. Patrimony number 721. Monument of local value. It is situated in Vytvytsya village, Dolyna district.
The church was erected in 1824. Under the wide eaves near the north wall, there is an equilateral porch. On both sides of the altar, there are dependencies. There is the unusable old wooden bell tower in the southeast, with two levels, and in the northeast, a modern stone bell tower was built, covered with an imposing lantern tower and a pointed peak. By its proportions, the church seems to soar into the sky. During the construction, the altar was oriented to the south, not to the east. In the years of World War II (but it is said that even today), the wealthy locals and the “peasants” were separated.
Repairs to the exterior, which gave the current appearance of this church, began in 2006.
