Church of the Assumption, code LMI SV-II-mA-05490. A monument of national importance located in Baia, founded in 1532 by the voivode Petru Rareș on the site of a stone church dating from the time of Alexander the Good (1400 -1432).
The church was painted between 1535 and 1538, both inside and outside. In the nave is located the votive painting depicting Petru Rares with Lady Elena and one of their sons, most likely Ilias Rares.
